Where to stay

Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa
Call Marissa, the Group Reservations Manager, and mention the Hammond Welstad wedding. You'll get member pricing, residential rates, and no resort fees. There's no booking deadline — but October fills up, so don't leave it too long.

Fly into Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers. It's roughly an hour's drive to Captiva, depending on traffic and the causeway.

Rent a car at the airport. There's no shuttle, rideshare gets scarce on the islands, and you'll want a car to explore anyway.
You'll cross the Sanibel Causeway to reach the islands, then continue north through Sanibel onto Captiva. There is a toll to get on — TODO: confirm the current amount and whether it's cash or plate-billed.
The drive through Sanibel to Captiva is slow by design: low speed limits, one main road. Give yourself more time than the map suggests, especially heading to the ceremony.

There's parking on site at Tween Waters. No shuttle is needed.
